Let me start by saying that I live in sunny Southern California, which means I'm not as cold as most of the country. This product used to work great, and then something interesting happened. This product seems to need a warm up period, yes, like a motor or pump. Really weird, I have an IT background so I'm savvy enough to check what is and isn't going on to make it a problem. It literally doesn't work if it's turned off for a while and then turned on when it's cold, it just plugs in and doesn't play anything. I have to hold it in my hand to warm it up with my body heat enough for the sound to come through the speakers. I told the company about it and they said they would ask the manufacturer but then I didn't hear anything so I think they know about it. It's annoying but after it's warmed up it works fine, if you live in a cold climate don't buy it. For your health!
