Thread count is overpriced
I have a bachelor's degree in textile design from Boston University and a good magnifying glass. So I counted the threads and got 272 in total. That's a far cry from what's advertised as 800 threads per inch. I'm sure they count the individual threads that make up each thread, or they just make that number out of thin air. Also, the hems on the pillowcases are done before the side seams are sewn, so some ugly overlock stitching goes all the way to the top of the pillowcase and is even poorly secured at the ends, so I'm pretty sure it will fall off after the first wash apart.
