This teether is cute and easy for baby/toddler to hold as it is thin at the bottom and wider tabs assist in a small grip. because the U-shaped part of the teether that goes in the mouth and massages the gums was a bit small for my 15 month old baby's mouth, which means he cannot reach his back molars when sitting directly on his gums, so this toy may have been intended for younger children with a smaller mouth. The age range says 3+ months but I would say it was a bit small for my son's age. The only negative thing I would say about this teether is that it is on them unlike some other types of U shaped teethers that have grooves. For a gum massager at the same price point or less, this one is relatively 2D in the sense that it's flat with ribs on each side, but it's not the sort of U-shaped teether that completely surrounds the gums on all sides like some others do it. It doesn't matter it's just a preference and I think my son prefers teethers that go around the gums front, back and where the teeth appear. I don't use it but it doesn't actually withstand cold temperatures which wasn't the intended use of the product but would be a nice feature. able to get something that offers a few more features that are good for teething from another product for a little less price.
