Review on 🔪 Qbit SQ1000-S Power Oscillating Multi-Tool Blade Saw: Precise Cutting for Single Gang Outlet Box by Jason Paredes

I ordered this product as I was remodeling my media room and needed to cut some holes in the low voltage boxes for speaker wire. DOES THE PRODUCT WORK? Yes it works as described and cuts the holes very cleanly. As others have noted, I've used it to cut holes in drywall, so can't speak to paneling. As always when using an oscillating tool, don't apply too much pressure, just let the tool do its job. You have to use the tool for the initial drilling, but after that it cuts the perfect hole. ATTENTION - this tool is available in several variations; 1 gang metal box, 1 gang low voltage box, 1 gang electric box, and they all cut a slightly different size hole. I didn't understand the difference and bought a 1 gang switch box that had a slightly larger hole cut in it than the low voltage frame. It worked and the lid was able to hide a slightly larger hole, but not ideal for low voltage. As others have mentioned, it's very expensive for what it is, but it does the job. It is also made in the USA.
