Great player considering the features and price

I saw this player for sale at Walmart but didn't buy it at first and missed it. then, after a long search, I bought it in an out-of-the-way shop outside of town. It was on sale, but the regular price was actually similar (just a few dollars less than Amazon). The reason I found this player is because I need a player that can play media via USB. Others that play via USB are much larger. I had heard of the name Viore before (in my work) so I figured it couldn't be that bad. On to the important part - it plays avi and mpg formats both via DVD player part and USB. You just have to re-encode it sometimes to get the AVI to play properly (at least USB). I was also able to get it to read my external hard drive, so I don't have to individually transfer the data to a USB flash drive to view it. I can easily watch movies for hours! The bad news is that scrolling through directories can sometimes be uncomfortable. Also other players that play via USB often have Netflix, Pandora etc but I don't need them - it's just a cheap bedroom player for me. so everything is a great player for the money. has the features I need and for the price I didn't even have to think much about it. Oh, it also does a 1080p upconversion, but I don't think about it as it's just a way the player fools your eyes. I think it's a higher resolution than it actually is. I would buy this product again if I needed another
