The model chose for a long time, read forums, reviews, reviews. I immediately decided on the manufacturer - Janome, but I suffered with the model . I was lucky, I stumbled upon the Vkontakte group, Janome Fan Club, Thank you, the organizers of this group! Thanks to you, I have my favorite assistant 5522!
Never worked on an electromechanical machine. The last time I sewed on Chaika was 25 years ago. And on this machine, on the very first evening, I sewed reusable masks for myself and my family. Very good model!
I advise everyone who chooses an assistant for many years!

Pros

Heavy! And it's great, because when working with very dense fabrics and at high speed, it stands steadily and does not jump on the table. It sews all types of fabrics thanks to the presser foot pressure regulator on the fabric, 22 lines, automatic buttonhole and much more. The user manual describes all the features in great detail. The sewing speed is controlled by pressing the foot controller.
