Review on TrackR Pixel - Bluetooth Tracking Device and Item Tracker for iOS/Android - 5 Pack, Black by Drew Poulin

I bought 8 tiles from Revain last year and need to replace them because the batteries are low. When I was looking for a replacement I saw that the TrackR devices were cheaper so I decided to give them a try. What a waste of time and money. they are garbage. Of the eight packages I received, one had no backplate or battery, two wouldn't connect to the iPhone, and the one I was able to connect kept giving false warnings that my phone was far from them , as the phone was obviously next to the tracker as I was still trying to connect the others. Instead of giving TrackR a bad review, I tried contacting the support number (listed on the card that came with it) to find out how to fix the situation. However when the call connected he immediately went to voicemail and gave me a message that their customer service number is now taking orders. Leave them your number and they'll call me back. Serious? I paid good money for their rubbish and when I try to resolve a problem with them they tell me they will call me back. Bottom line: The gear is terrible, their quality control is non-existent and I think their customer service is a joke. I will spend more money and buy a new Tile that now has a removable battery.
