I should have known better, not my first BMW product I work on. Haven't removed it yet to see what exactly went wrong, but oil is leaking from the vent base, the oil cap is still closed. I will never buy from this brand again. The price is too good to be true, save time, headaches and possibly an engine, spend more and get a better quality valve cover. This really frustrates me, I make a living from it and order a lot of parts from Amazon and I've never had such a bad part. It's not about the time it takes to replace it, it's like a 10 minute job, it's about the simple fact that the part is extremely poor quality, but you get what you pay for . I'll spend more next time. This time maybe adding a hook could redesign the system.
