Great product! It was almost $250 cheaper than the OEM leaked on my Mini. If you have an MCS with engine code P1497 look at the area around the built in PCV valve. If there are signs of an oil crack or leak, replacing this valve cover will most likely fix the situation!

I should have known better, not my first BMW product I work on. Haven't removed it yet to see what exactly went wrong, but oil is leaking from the vent base, the oil cap is still closed. I will never buy from this brand again. The price is too good to be true, save time, headaches and possibly an engine, spend more and get a better quality valve cover. Please do not buy this product. I installed it and thought my problem was solved. A week later my P1497 code came back and I was going insane trying to find the problem elsewhere. I had to replace almost all of the sensors and finally found that the check valve on the turbine side was stuck open, allowing excess air into the intake manifold. Very disappointed. Unfortunately I missed the return date so I can't send it back.

I have a '09 JCW R56 and yes it does contain the actual valve cover. I wasn't sure if I should buy this one given how cheap it was, but it's surprisingly well made. It is very durable and the plastic is fiber reinforced. I had no problems with the installation. The holes don't line up as well as the original cover, but they're big enough for screws to go through easily.
