This is the perfect flashlight for setting up by YouTube Studios. It contains the essential elements for today's YouTube studio. The light quality is as good as that of professional flashlights. The difference lies in the cheaper packaging. In my experience, however, they hold up. I still have an old Neewer softbox working in my garage. I was thinking of coming back to this when I saw it. I have other, more professional lights, but I hate taking them off and putting them back in place over and over again. I'll leave these in place and keep the rest in boxes ready to go when needed. I love that it comes with a remote control which the previous one didn't have. In addition, there is an excellent color temperature range and, on top of that, the RGB backlight. There are options when it is used. If you already have key and fill lights, they can act as backlights, especially if you're using color. I wasn't very happy with the result of using white light as the key/fill light. The light is surprisingly very bright but not harsh on the skin. While I'm glad it accepts battery operation, it needs to be powered by 2 batteries at the same time to work. Overall I'm very happy with it.
