Product details were not accurate which hampered movement. They needed time to adjust. The lower adjuster endplate bolts had to be loosened and left loose to reduce sticking. The screws on the side also had to be loosened so that the handle worked smoothly and without sticking. The bottom handle cannot be rotated when the device is placed on a flat surface. You need to move it 3/4 inch away from the flat surface to use the crank. This is a design flaw. Assembly problems were caused by inaccurate parts. Perfomance. The product can be useful when accuracy is NOT important. You can use it on a power drill to make cross cuts to get you out of a jam. If you are serious about accuracy and smooth operation, FORGET this product. You don't get much for $30 when there are a lot of parts that need fine machining. If you're a handyman, try to get this thing working. Maybe you can even make a good product. like if you had a milling machine to change some details. It's disappointing that this could have been a good product if the manufacturer had spent more time testing and fixing issues. American manufacturers would NOT let the product leave the building like this.
