As a former recording studio owner I can tell you that these are very impressive headphones. These aren't high-end studio headphones by any means, but they're still very impressive, and in all honesty, if you want studio headphones, you should be prepared to spend triple the money. I've been listening to them every day for 2 weeks now and do it in a variety of conditions. I do this right away to make sure I really want to save some while the return period is still active, but I don't have to worry about that with them at all. Clarity is beautiful in a variety of music genres. I also listen to podcasts and the speech intelligibility is also quite good. Now I'm a bespoke tailor so I've used them in the workshop while operating the machines and I'm so impressed with how well the noise canceling works that I honestly don't need extra hearing protection because they do such a good job of eliminating them the noise of loud machines! I've used them for phone calls and the clarity on both ends is pretty good. I even called my wife from my highway truck and she was very impressed, much better than previous headsets I've had. It was important to me, so I was very happy that it worked so well. The battery life is also very good. Remember I said I hear them every day? And I talk for several hours every day. Well, I'm just getting the battery charge notification for the first time! Therefore, the battery life far exceeds expectations. A warning: they keep your ears very warm, which is very common with in-ear headphones, so be aware. I have tried various Tranya products in the past and this is absolutely their best product yet!
