Review on Rust-Oleum Pure Gold 245221 Universal All Surface Spray Paint, 11 Oz, Metallic, 11 Ounce (Pack Of 1) by Carl Estell

This is a 5 star, very metallic looking paint that sprays and holds up well. Metal flakes provide the gleam of polished metal even through clear coat. And it appears to have high aluminum content that covers quickly without running. I use this paint for small, non metallic parts on my custom car and it looks great and has never failed me.What’s bad is a spray nozzle that was apparently designed by a gadgeteer that ran out of ideas half way through the project. The concept was to shape the can in such a way it could be held in pistol-grip fashion. That was a good idea. Where it went wrong was it incorporates a tiny, difficult to hold, difficult to insert trigger lock that prevents accidental spraying when picking the can up. Trying to find, engage and slide the minuscule lock into place when putting the can away often results in a spray of paint in directions that covers hands, fingers and anything or anyone standing in front of the nozzle.I was hoping to find this in a standard rattle can configuration, but it looks like I’ll have to endure another round of accidental shooting when putting things away.
