Review on Metra 70-8901 Vehicle Harness for 93-94 Subaru Impreza: A Reliable Wiring Solution by Timothy Louis

I have a 2001 Subaru Legacy GT (sedan) and wanted to put my old Kenwood deck on the car. This fits perfectly with the factory plug! The back of the packaging also states what each color represents (which also states on the cables). I never used some cables (dimmer, amplifier and power antenna). Just keep in mind that this is not completely plug and play. You need to connect the wires by either crimping or soldering them together. I went out and bought a wire stripper/crimping tool and a small wire splice kit at a local hardware store. It took a little while to disassemble my old wiring harness and try to keep as many wires as possible, but that's all you have to do is, match the colors and curl them together. I checked front, back, left and right. and everything was fine. Greta product. I wish there was a little more plug and play, but I don't think I ever expected them to have a different end of the wiring harness for my particular stereo receiver.
