I ordered this transfer belt to assist me in transferring my disabled mother who needs help from time to time, as she has just moved in with us. In instances before, someone would always end up hurt because there was nothing for us to use to transfer her besides hooking under her arms, but now we have this posey transfer belt on hand and it works great! My mother is approx. 5ft 9in and weighs about 210lbs and the belt fits snugly around her (it easily adjusts) and the material it is made from is strong.
