Fairly Bad Smells Good for Hardware

This material is fine. DAP makes a very similar product called Universal Wood Filler (also water based). The biggest problem I have is the smell. The DAP product is a lot less offensive - note I'm talking about DAP water treatment material, not the original DAP plastic wood. I don't think the smell is harmful but I use it in residential areas and it gives me a headache even with quite a bit of exposure. Almost all wood spatulas, including this one, I would consider only suitable for painting.
