Some parts were damaged but the company was very quick to respond to my request for a replacement and I received it within a few days. When you first open the box there is a strong smell, it's understandable that cheap varnish is used, but for me the smell went away in less than a week (and the table was in a small closed room), so while you're building this. Some time before the baby is born, you should be fine with your sense of smell. I'm going to buy a changing mat for it because the standard covers don't fit. By installing a changing table in the corner, I was able to fit everything in the nursery without feeling cramped. More companies should create this style sheet. Update: The "rectangular" portion of the changing pad is 23" x 16" and I still haven't been able to find a changing pad that small. . Standard changing pads are usually around 30" x 16". Please keep this in mind. I don't know how to deal with this yet, maybe I need to create custom covers. definitely the biggest downside of this product in my opinion.
