I wear a size 9 and ordered a size 9. These things don't slide well on the heel and are very annoying. The fit seems normal without socks, but the heel slips out and rubs against the back of my heels when getting in and out. When I wear them with socks they are tight but the heels still slip. For now I'll just cut off the back halves. Update: Cut off the back halves and they are perfect now. Easy to put on and take off, the heel does not rub. I just used a razor and went through the seams. Update in 2 weeks. I live in these slippers now. Easy to get in and out of, but still a perfect fit.
