As a professional barber, I've been told about these types of razors, the build quality and the fact that the blade is closer to the original hard blade. The blades are a bit more expensive for them, but of course that can be factored into any service costs. The razor is very comfortable to use and of good quality, as you are used to from Feather. The shaving style takes some getting used to. but you will not be disappointed. I recently took an advanced haircut class where one of the aspects was how to cut women's hair/longer hair with a straight blade. I took this blade with me and the people in the class were impressed and asked where I got it from as they were impressed with the quality etc. The Feather SS delivered excellent results and can therefore be recommended for those who use a razor on their hair. Great product at the right price. If you're paying $150 or even £150 for these types of razors that are being ripped off, this price is right! I will buy again in the future.
