God this starter is expensive I didn't know if it was worth it. It was. I use an adapter bell to fit a GM 6 speed manual transmission to the rear of my 460. My old starter was a bit sluggish and didn't do it so I decided to try this one. He came with a chart and specs for how far the starter teeth should be from the ring gear. I've never seen this before and mine was off. It also came with spacers to move it closer or farther as needed. I've used shims to push the teeth further away from the flywheel and it works great. That's a great start.
