I've never heard my 460 start so fast, great starter!

I am impressed with this starter, it works great and shuts the engine off quickly. It doesn't have as many mounting positions as some others on the market, but it fits great with the magnet on top, close to the block. Made in the USA.

That's a great start.

God this starter is expensive I didn't know if it was worth it. It was. I use an adapter bell to fit a GM 6 speed manual transmission to the rear of my 460. My old starter was a bit sluggish and didn't do it so I decided to try this one. He came with a chart and specs for how far the starter teeth should be from the ring gear. I've never seen this before and mine was off. It also came with spacers to move it closer or farther as needed. I've used shims to push the teeth further away from the…
