Review on Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice Arctic 195/60 R15 88T winter by Stanislaw Koluch ᠌

Just a terrible product, very upset.

I don’t know who tested this rubber there, in the tests “behind the wheel” in the first places, I was seduced, bought and horror. It snowed today, I drove 40 km along an uncleaned track, 5 cm of snow is a nightmare, the previous cordians, if compared, were just lovely, more than 60 km on an uncleaned track with a small layer of snow, the car was simply thrown from side to side, not directly I could drive, it’s just not possible to somehow drive in a straight line, I thought the cordiant was bad, but this Goodyear is just awful, I regretted it a hundred times. In the 40 turn, it just swept to the side of the road, where for three years on the cordiant it was 70 km. I'm shocked, I didn't think that such gomno rubber happens. I was driving back along a cleaned one, where the asphalt made its way, and along a knurled road - 80 is the limit, then it carries, on the cordiant 120 was not the limit. For 6 years I have been driving along this track almost every day, I have studied the speed limits both in winter and summer, but to drive like this - God forbid anyone. If you need to change lanes, at 80 it starts to wear all over the road, it’s terribly scary, you need to slow down a lot in a turn, in short, driving over 60 on a snowy track is very dangerous. I strongly, very much regretted it, and after all, it was Goodyear that I specifically went to the store to buy, based on the reviews here, in the box and in magazines. What to do now, how to ride in winter? spent almost 20 pieces with the installation. rubber of 15 inches, 195 on 60 spikes, production Poland. I will try to sell and buy others. People, do not buy, take care of your life. I repeat, cordiant and before that were bridge stone, several times better in everything. I don’t know whether to sue the Zarulevites

Pros
  • No
Cons
  • Noisy on pavement, in turns, even in smooth ones, the tire is crushed, the car kind of twists the ankle, there is no directional stability after 100 km, you need to steer all the time on the pavement, it’s just awful in the snow, the snowy road up to 80 on a straight line is nothing like an uncleaned place, when rebuilding, the car starts to take down a lot, it's scary to drive.
