Review on Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2 225/65 R17 102S winter by Micha Sarnowski ᠌

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

I installed this rubber on myself just at the point when there was severe ice, and I was driving to the Bridgestone officials on summer tires so that I could purchase and install Blizzak DM-V2. I was driving on summer tires that were just six months old, and I rolled out to the junction twice like a cow on ice because it was so slippery! Driven no faster than 20 kilometers per hour! I went to the officials, got tires with the specifications Bridgestone Blizzak DM-V2 235/60 R18 107S, drove onto the road along the bark while equipped with summer tires, and slid around like a ballerun. Winter tires grip the road admirably, perform admirably while stopping on ice, and even behave respectably when driving through porridge. I drove through snowy porridge and with melting snow - I did not reveal any problems, the car was driven confidently. Pros: + rubber is stable on ice; + in corners on ice, the car also holds (although I have an Audi Q5 four-wheel drive, so I can't say how it will be in corners on the rear or front drive); + very quiet tires, almost like summer tires; + I drove through snowy porridge and with melting snow - I did not reveal any problems, the Negatives: As far, I could not discover any negatives; however, on dry pavement (the temperature was +6 degrees) at speeds of 130 km/h and above, the rubber handling is not as excellent as it is on my ordinary Bridgestone Dueler H/P summer tires. This is the only thing I found to be a disadvantage. It appears as though the car is floating. This becomes most obvious while passing another vehicle, namely when the speed of the vehicle being passed reaches 150–160 kilometers per hour (i.e. when passing two or three trucks on the highway at the same time). I have come to the conclusion that the Blizzak DM-V2 tires are an excellent choice for the winter season (ice and light snow). I am happy with how she is doing. I paid 6,700 for it when I bought it from the officials. Buying new sneakers set me out $1,400 for a set of four wheels. warranty for one year!)) PS I did not test rubber in severe frosts because there were none available at the time of my testing. PS2 I nearly forgot to mention that despite my efforts to balance one wheel for approximately thirty to forty minutes, the wheel did not give in to my demands. The balancing of the remaining wheels took very little time (between three and five minutes each wheel).

Pros
  • silent and sturdy on ice
Cons
  • floats in a cabbage at a speed of 160-170 kilometers per hour on dry pavement.
