I bought these to make the bass body neck and pickup pockets. They worked great on the poplar body I was training on, but when I started working with the harder ash wood they barely held up. Eventually he dug into a tree and the router jumped. He removed part of my template and left a decent hole in the tree. You can buy a whiteside cutter for almost the same price. Much higher quality, carbide tip and tighter tolerance bearing. Unless you plan on rough softwood work, these bits are not for you. Spend four euros more and get a quality tool.
