I had to cut a very strong 1/8" Lexan using a metal template. Well I succeeded, but the first cutter I used tore about 1/3 of the way around a roughly 28" oblong circle. I knew something was wrong because the bearing started sparking off the metal template and the plastic weirdly melted. Then the bearing must have knocked out its innards because then the whole nozzle started vibrating madly.
