I have to admit, but until recently I didn't know such a magnetic rod finder existed! We had a gentleman install several cabinets and he had one. I have used electronic pickups and small magnetic switch pickups but this one outperforms them. How much more accurate can a spike finder be than this one? Once the magnets find the nails holding the drywall to the studs, it just hangs there. The included level and plumb make it even better.
