Review on Honeywell True HEPA Filter Replacement by Chris Peck

I use it in my Honeywell HPA100 air purifier and it works as expected. However, I previously ordered a replacement filter which turned out to be a non-genuine Honeywell replacement filter. Using an 'incorrect' filter caused the air cleaner unit to become very noisy and I initially thought the unit itself was broken. I've added some pictures here to show the difference between a real Honeywell filter and a 'fake' one in case others notice the problem. A genuine Honeywell filter has cloth/adhesive strips and a code stamped on the side. The "fake" filter has paper tabs, no code on the side, and is slightly shorter than the original filter.
