So I gave these 4 stars mainly because I was expecting a silver candle but got a cheap metal candle with a silver sheen. I was able to solve this by lightly sprinkling gray and black spray paint on it to darken it a bit and remove the metallic look. They'll be in the lanterns on the wall, so the color should be fine by now. They seem to work well although the range is weaker than even the cheap votive set I have. But when it is on, the light flickers and looks very realistic.
