When I started assembling this table I figured it would break within a month. It's been over a year and this table is still holding up. I originally bought this table because I had very specific space requirements and it was the only table small enough to fit in. I needed a table for a desktop computer. The computer part fits on the bottom shelf and this shelf holds up surprisingly well. My monitor is on the back shelf and I keep my books in niches. Overall, that's probably quite a bit of weight this table is holding. It's pretty solid when I'm actually sitting at my desk and using my computer. It wobbles a bit when my cat jumps on it, but that's really the only time that happens. Overall I would say this is a pretty good table for the price.
