This card kept failing on an old high performance PC. I put that aside but recently put together a new high end audio/video workstation and decided to give this card another try. M.2 with over 1.8TB of storage and setting the card properties for maximum performance, I've hit speeds of up to 280MB/s. It was awesome and close to the maximum advertised speed of the flash drive itself. However, it kept failing - never been able to move more than 16GB of data without stopping and showing an "Insufficient memory" error. With 64GB of system memory and 60 of it available, it looks like a driver or card issue. I ran the same test with the 3.0 connectors right on the back of the motherboard using the same flash drive and test and never had a problem completing it. then increased the amount of data on the flash drive and got the same results. Basically, I give this card one star because what good is a USB 3.0 interface if it can't transfer large amounts of data consistently? Isn't that the point of the purchase? Looking at other reviews it seems like some others have acknowledged the same issue.
