Review on Posi Tap® Connectors 10 12 Gauge Bulk by Douglas Davis

I'm not a professional landscaper but I'm the guy next door who lights up the whole block with his low voltage lights. I've tried many connectors over the years and these are by far the best. They take a little longer than the Malibu connectors you can get from HomeDepot, but they're much better - worth the extra time. I would NOT recommend these for 10 gauge wire as I could hardly fit a 12 gauge wire in the slot provided. I'm guessing it depends on the insulation surrounding the wire, but my 12 gauge wire had thick insulation and barely fit, so think before you buy a ton of wire and those connectors. Another tip is to use a hair dryer or hair dryer to soften the insulation when you slide the connector onto the wire.
