Review on ๐Ÿ”ฅ BLACK DECKER HG1300 Dual Temperature Heat Gun by Charles Adelaja

Revainrating 5 out of 5

We use them every day!

I have $20 heat guns and I have used $200 heat guns. These Black and Deck Ones are my favorite heat guns that I use in my shop. I own a vinyl graphics business and we use heat guns every day. We throw them from stairs, from tables. and these heat guns stand up to abuse best. The problem with more expensive heat guns is that they only use ceramic in their heat exchangers. repeated complete covering of all heating coils. If we drop these heat guns, the ceramic will break and either shear off the heating element or small pieces of broken ceramic will get stuck in the fan and cause a jam. Black and Decker's heat exchanger also uses ceramic, but ceramic parts are more durable and are solid "sticks" that simply separate the coil. We use them A LOT and the coils end up breaking from overuse. but they are very easy to fix and we can always rewire them. Even then, for the price I can buy 3-4 Black and Deckers instead of a Makita or Milwaukee, which don't last nearly as long. Once the coils are broken, it's all bullshit. In general, Black and Decker heat guns proved to be the most reliable and gave off the most heat and air. and weigh less than larger brands. I showed these heat guns to a few other stores and they all switched to them. When busy stores like ours rely on it day in, day out. There's no reason why the average bear shouldn't. Yes. they will break. but does everything. They're just more durable than most. I had my business friends use it and each of them was immediately impressed and the next time I visit they use this heat gun. real story every time without error.
