I've been playing for a while since playing on PC and then also PlayStation before the second came outside. I later got an Xbox 360 and I'm not happy with how cheap the controller buttons were. On my PS2 and 3 controllers, every button press was correct. On the 360 controllers, the D-Pad and RB + LB buttons were just awful. I ran into controller number 360 where RB or LB just didn't work. My own wired 360 degree controller that I've used with my PC has never felt good. In games that relied on the D-Pad, I simply avoided using XBOX controllers after playing Assassin's Creed with them. After that, I was very disappointed with how little the Xbox One controllers had improved compared to the 360 controller. As support for the PS4 controller for PC increased, I just used it whenever possible. This controller really changed a lot of what I thought was wrong with the quality of Microsoft controllers. The D-Pad is exactly what I've always wanted in an Xbox-style controller, and every button finally clicks right. My only minor complaint is that pressing RB and LB doesn't feel entirely intuitive due to the ergonomics of the controller. I work very well with both my PC and Xbox One X. Now I want to say that this controller will be the only one I will use on every Xbox from now on. Now for the pros and cons: Pros: - The separate D-pad is what I love the most. This can have real implications if you're like me and tend to be off-center, whereas with an MS controller it leads to a different direction than intended. - Much better face buttons with a smooth, defined click. - Thicker bezel slightly smaller. and a slightly more comfortable shape in the hand. Triggers feel good both with and without emphasis. This is a significant improvement over the standard controller. - High quality long cable for use in the living room. - 4 programmable buttons to use on PCCONS: - RB + LB buttons could use some improvement. However, it's still a lot better than the Microsoft controllers. No WLAN. It doesn't really matter to me, but it's worth noting the cost here. The RGB lighting is pretty bright for me. I got it during Prime Day but now that I've used it I'd say it's worth the suggested retail price. I'll give it a 9.5/10 because, aside from my quibbles, it's almost perfect for a wired controller.
