I bought this for my BFF's 50 birthday primarily for the symbolism of a ring representing each decade. If you didn't know what they represented, it would still be a pretty necklace. The necklace is dainty, the chain is very fine and the clasp is tiny. The rings are smaller than portrayed, thus the 4 stars for the misleading photos. The chain is a good length, the silver is very shiny, overall the necklace is pretty and feminine and looks well made. The necklace comes with a little gift bag and is in a nice presentation box. With the necklace is a cleaning cloth and directions on how to deter tarnish. My girlfriend was delighted with the necklace and it looked very pretty on.
