I bought it to do other things while playing games on my home screen (youtube, walkthroughs, discord parties etc) and it works great for all of that. The picture is good. Brightness is adjustable. Okay, okay, we're fine. BUT one of its advantages is that it can "work" with Nintendo Switch and Android phones (I have both) with just one USB-C cable. My phone could show up on it normally (although I don't know why I would ever need it, but it's neither here nor there). When I tried to connect my switch, the screen showed "No Signal" even though my switch was powered on. I tried connecting the Switch with a different USB-C to USB-C cable while it was still connected to my computer and it resulted in both displays (laptop screen and Trio screen) going black and my Switch wouldn't turn on even though it was fully charged. Luckily, all my Switch needed was a hard reset and it's now working fine again. (I have an Animal Crossing Switch Limited Edition Switch, so I'd be REALLY heartbroken if I broke it to get it to work.) A star docking anyway because switch compatibility is questionable. Also, it works great as a second monitor on a laptop.
