Surprisingly good at what he does.
Bought because of a REDDIT comment and I'm surprised how well it actually works. No smell, no powder, nothing. I apply it a little differently as the crystal gets slippery when wet. I pour some water into the plastic bowl that comes with the kit and only submerge the side I'm going to use in the water. This keeps the pages I'm holding from getting wet. When I'm done, I pour out the water and turn the plate over. Then I lay the crystal on top (bottom) wet side up to dry. Next time I use it, the new side is dipped/used/dry, which makes up for the usage.
