These gold interlaced napkin rings would be the perfect addition to a 'more sophisticated' setting, rather than the usual Spring/Summer party with friends. In my opinion they look a bit off even for a more formal occasion. It all depends on the taste. I'm not a big fan of muted gold sets and it's really difficult to pair these napkin rings with a beautifully colored cloth napkin and cutlery. The quality is good, not outstanding. The weight appears to be a bit lighter for a well made napkin holder. Of course, you're not looking for something very heavy, but you want napkin rings that feel solid in your hand.
