I bought this to replace a discontinued Thule 7033 liter car tank that broke after years of use. This trash can is smaller, but I'm fine with that. My problem is that it doesn't work well when hanging behind the passenger seat like I want to use it. The straps that wrap around the headrest posts are not attached to the container at an angle that would allow it to lie flat against the seatback. The lid closes with a magnet and requires little force to open. When I sat in the driver's seat and tried to lift the lid of the bin, the entire bin tipped over, potentially spilling the contents of the bin over the back of the car. This trash can is neat and attractive, and other people might like it. but it doesn't work for me.
