For only $40 this lamp/magnifier works very well. The color can change to daylight, blue or warm light. The magnifying glass is clean and meets my needs. I mainly work with electronics and after about a day of use I can say that it helps me a lot with small jobs. I like that moving my hand doesn't change the angle of my loupe in any way, so I don't have to adjust it at all. Since the base is designed for the hand, it tends to be very wobbly. I recommend using a desk mount if possible. Also, it's USB powered and when I plug it into the charging box to plug into an outlet, it works fine. However, when I plugged it into a USB outlet on the wall, it lost power intermittently. Not sure why. The last thing it could be is that the arm is visibly twisted/flexed. This doesn't affect functionality too much, but it does make the base even more difficult to use than before. enough workspace.
