I use this product regularly to clean wooden floors in my office, kitchen and living room. These three rooms are of course frequented by both humans and our house cat. The Bona Pro series vacuum cleaner does an excellent job of cleaning floors, leaving nothing but a transparent and dry floor. You can either spray it with a powerful stream or with a softer, wider stream. It spreads easily on the floor and you don't need a lot of liquid to clean the floor well. Dries in seconds. Within a minute the floor was completely dry. With this tool I wiped away all kinds of dirt. Dirt, food scraps, cat hair, dried stains, etc. Sometimes when the dirt has dried, I'll overspray the area with a spray, let it sit for a few seconds to loosen the dirt, then wipe it off with a microfiber mop. I use it twice a week and I haven't noticed any removal of the original finish on my floors. I am confident that this product is safe to use on any type of hardwood. And as far as I can tell it leaves no film or residue. I am happy with this product and will continue to use it on all my wood floors.
