I like that they are non-slip, that I don't feel concrete with every step. I was hoping there would be more cushioning with every step, but other than that they are stylish and I love them. I have two pairs of branded tennis shoes that cost me over $270. One of them has no slip resistance at all and my feet feel like I'm walking straight on concrete with every step. The other pair has the same platform as this one, some slip resistance, very soft (nice to walk on) but they are so bulky that I look like I have clown feet lol (I didn't mind clown feet because they were so comfy but with shoes that cost $140.00 they should give me everything I need and most importantly slip resistance.Nonetheless these shoes are amazing considering the price!I wear an 8.5 but based on reviews I have an 8 Received and they are perfect with no socks even with thin socks they are a bit tight for me today with no socks and I am fine 5 stars but they are cool
