Review on Noctua NH-D15S Dual-Tower CPU Cooler with NF-A15 PWM Fan - Premium Brown Edition by Doyun Hwang ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good purchase.

An excellent cooler for everyday life, I think any percent, simpler than the i9-9900k, it will cool perfectly and quietly. The cooler has really great compatibility. Its pros: - For i9-9900k, in stock, in a closed case, it's enough, but it's tight. - Under Prime95, with AVX, this percent emits 220 watts, at a frequency of 4.7, and the temperature with this cooler turns out to be 98-99 degrees, in a closed case, the percent at the same time, sometimes throttling. - Prime95, without AVX, emits the same 220 watts, but already at a frequency of 5.0, for all cores, the temperature is also up to the ceiling, and also sometimes trottle. In short - in grinding, but you can live. - With all other programs, except prime, including any games - no problem, 5.0 GHz, for all cores - just on the way, and quite quietly. With its cons. - In principle, not loud, but could be a bit quieter. - For i9-9900k it is enough, in grinding. - We are not talking about any i9 overclocking with this cooler. Although, setting 5.0 for all cores - you will succeed, but only if you do NOT test it in prime. That is, in principle, it will work everywhere, at 5 GHz, except for prime. Cinebench R20, for example, with this cooler gave 5236 points. During this test, a couple of times, for a fraction of a second, the percentage still went into thermal throttling, which, apparently, did not really affect the result.
