These speakers don't really have volume controls, the volume is controlled by what you connect them to. There's a way to increase or decrease the maximum volume by holding down the buttons on the device, but it's not exactly the same thing and just limits the actual performance of the speakers. As they were bought on Prime Day they cost just over 23.00 and at this price they are worth it. I use a bluetooth connection with my phone and a line with my laptop. The volume gets very loud, but not distorted. They have minimal bass, but only 10 watts, so that shouldn't surprise you. The USB feature only makes sense if you connect a non-Bluetooth device to it, e.g. B. an old iPad or MP3 device. Using a flash drive in the USB input port would be silly as you would severely limit your control over what tracks you play.
