If you’re installing a mini-split and wall mounting it, I’d highly recommend these. I bought a 12k BTU mini-split and installed it on my exterior office wall. It’s stucco/styrofoam/OSB. I anchored to the OSB as the mounting using stainless toggle bolts. I used the 1/4” vibration pads that came with the mount. After installing, there was a fair amount of vibration and droning harmonics vibrating my office wall. I could actually hear it outside of my home office. I decided to pick these up and replace the rubber pads. The problem I had was I had to suspend and also raise the condensing unit to fit these. After a little creative work I got these installed and they’ve made a huge difference. I can hear the compressor start up but once it’s running I cannot really hear or feel the outdoor unit running. These are pretty soft mounts, but they work great for this application. Moral of the story is, install these up front if you want to reduce the chance of vibration transferring to whatever structure you’ve mounted the mini-split to. Two pics show these mounts newly installed while the third shows my original install.
