I've been using straight through connectors for a while and am very impressed with how much easier they are to use compared to the old style connectors. These pass-through connectors make what used to be a very tedious job MUCH easier and much faster. I'm no longer afraid to make cables. It's that easy now. It was well worth spending over $40 for a quality crimping tool that automatically trims excess conductors flush with the end of the connector. I'll probably never use my old crimping tool and leftover connectors that won't work again.
