My 2013 VW Golf had check engine light, EPC light and rough idle. I read the engine code and pointed to the camshaft sensor. There are several aftermarket options for this part, I went with this one because of the price and the decent ratings/reviews. Pretty easy exchange. At first it didn't seem like it fixed my rough idle problem, but the guy from Auto Zone took one look, reset my check engine light and told him to get in and drive. Since then it has worked flawlessly, so I understand that this sensor is working as expected. I'm glad I didn't buy VW's $90 OEM sensor.
