I probably should have ordered the next weight up.15 lbs doesn't seem quite heavy enough to provide a lot of the benefits that people say a weighted blanket can deliver. My daughter has this one in the same weight and she has definitely noticed an improvement in her restlessness and ability to fall asleep so it has worked great for her. She is smaller and lighter than me so that probably is making the difference at the 15 lb blanket weight. Despite the fact that I still wake up through the night and am a little restless before I drift off I do think I may be sleeping a little better and deeper while I am actually asleep. Also its comfortable so overall while its not 100 percent perfect I consider it a win anyway.
