My overall experience with the ThunderShirt was positive. This reduced my dog's anxiety during thunderstorms but didn't eliminate it. Thundershirt seems to be well made. Although I haven't owned it for a long time, there are no signs of wear or defects. Conclusion: READ AND FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE YOU BEGIN! I read a lot of reviews before buying, mostly focusing on the lower rated reviews. Based on these reviews and the instructions that came with Thundershirt, I'm sure a lot of people didn't follow the instructions which resulted in poor results. DO NOT introduce your dog to the ThunderShirt during an activity that frightens him. As a result, they associate Thundershirt with a bad event. Instead, follow the instructions on how to make your pet's first introduction a positive experience.
