We use this product every day. I had another one for years and my daughter loved it so much that I gave it to her and then couldn't find another one! I'm so glad I still have one. I even plan to take one of them to our house in the mountains so we don't feel miserable going there! However, it is recommended to tap and place it in place before removing it from the platter. It is very easy to refill and adjust to the degree of grinding.
