This is a pretty decent kitchen scale. It is compact, lightweight and easy to use. It's also attractive and quite well made. The accuracy is spot on. These aren't accurate scales, but for measuring food ingredients in general, they get the job done. I would probably ignore anything in decimals. The scale runs on 3 AAA batteries (included). The top of the scale is solid glass and the base is plastic. The display is hidden under glass, which is seamless and looks pretty cool. touch buttons. It has a standard tare function and 4 different units of measurement that you can switch between. Scales are easy to clean. The top is made entirely of glass, it can be easily wiped clean after use. There is an app for scales but I don't use it. It's a kind of smart food tracking that I don't need. Overall I am very happy with this scale. It's pretty decent, and to some extent pretty accurate. Easy to use and clean. If you don't need high precision scales, this could be the one for you. For measuring ingredients for general culinary purposes, it gets the job done.
